Silverware at Snetterton for Rowan
Sheffield’s rising star of motorsport headed to nearly three-mile long circuit, Snetterton for the third round of the 2024 ROKiT British F4 Championship Certified by the FIA. It was another weekend full of silverware for the steel city boy.
Qualifying took place on Saturday where Rowan found himself seventh in the wet and damp conditions which came out at the circuit in Norfolk. Putting in a solid time he was second in the rookie class for qualifying.
It was race two and three where Rowan came into his own as he found himself on the rookie podium once again - taking two trophies back to Sheffield.
In race two, Rowan had some difficult times battling on track and with the racing conditions but he found himself on the third step of the rookie podium, Alongside his Argenti teammate Yanpu Cui, who took the overall and rookie class and JHR’s Joel Bergstrom who took second.
Race three, was one of the highlights of the weekend, and could have seen Rowan progress further if it weren’t for the down pour of rain which ultimately stopped the race. Rowan landed himself a second place on the rookie podium with Bergstrom in first and Martin Molnar in third.
It was another successful weekend from the rising star of Sheffield, he managed to take himself up to second in the rookie cup, just behind Cui.
